OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A 34-year-old woman was killed and her daughter was hospitalized when a pickup truck struck their car in southeast Oklahoma City.

Police haven't released the names of the victims of Thursday morning's accident at Southeast 74th Street and Westminster Road.

Sergeant Charles Phillips says the pickup was traveling west on 74th and ran a stop sign, colliding with the car that was headed south on Westminster Road.

Phillips says one of the two men in the pickup was located a short time later after he tried to flee the scene.

He says investigators want to know which of the two men was driving the pickup at the time of the accident, and whether alcohol or drugs on the part of the truck driver contributed to the accident.
