Muskogee County authorities are investigating a homicide.

It happened near Boynton, about 20 miles southwest of Muskogee. The News on 6 has learned the victim is 35-years-old. He was found dead outside of a rural home.

Deputies say the man may have died from a blow to the head.

The body was taken to the Oklahoma State Medical Examinerâ€™s Office in Tulsa for an autopsy to determine an exact cause of death.
