OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ An Oklahoma City middle school teacher is tossing away her red ink when grading papers and using a new approach.

Special education teacher Dee Fox uses purple ink, and instead of marking wrong answers she highlights the correct answers.

Fox says many of her students have met with a lot of academic failure and she's just looking for ways to make learning more enjoyable.

And eighth-grader Kris Johnson says he wishes more teachers would follow Fox's lead, saying the teacher is always nice and encouraging to the students.
