A former Latimer County jail inmate says she plans to sue the county. She claims Sheriff Melvin Holly raped her.

The 63-year-old Holly is facing a 14-count indictment accusing him of inappropriate sexual activity with female inmates and employees.

Holly is being held without bail in a Muskogee County jail and faces up to life in prison if convicted.

County officials say they expect more lawsuits to follow.
