OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The director of the Oklahoma State Department of Central Services is leaving her position.

Pam Warren announced Tuesday that she will retire effective December 31st.

Governor Brad Henry named Retired Army Colonel John -S- Richard to replace Warren.

The 53-year-old Lawton native held a number of leadership positions in three decades in military service, including secretary to the general staff of the US Army in Europe.

Most recently, he was inspector general of the Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard.

Richard holds a master's degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University.

His salary will be $75,900 dollars annually.
