Tuesday was the last day on the job for a long-time veteran of the Tulsa Police Department.

Deputy Chief Bob Busby, the only African American police officer to have held TPD's three highest ranks, retired Tuesday after 43 years in law enforcement.

His successor has not been named, but five majors will be tested for the position.

Busby says he plans to spend his retirement relaxing on his farm.
