Thousands of service men and women won't be home with their families for the holidays.
So some students in Mustang, Oklahoma gathered up loads of holiday cheer to send their way.
They adopted about 20 soldiers who are fighting in Tikrit.
They are sending them stockings filled with cards, magazines, DVD's, as well as necessities like soap, socks, and toothpaste.
What started out as a small project has turned into much more.
They have enough donations to send 100 soldiers holiday packages. But not enough money for postage to Iraq.
If you'd like to help, you can call Stockings For Soldiers at 405-229-6351.
