Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Takata, the largest manufacturer of seat belts, want you to tie one on this holiday.
Wednesday, they kicked off their red ribbon campaign. Drivers are asked to tie a red ribbon on their vehicle as a pledge to drive safe and sober.
Vicki Roberts with MADD: "We will have ribbons all around town, they're free, take as many as you want, give them to family, give them to your friends."
Don't forget, local authorities will also be enforcing seat belt use through their "Click It Or Ticket" campaign.
