The News on 6 and Mathis Brothers announced our latest winner in the Battle of the Bands contest. More than 30 schools entered and the judges say Keifer is one of the best!

The Keifer High School band won the class A category. It's a small, yet growing bad with a lot of spirit! Band director Robert Brown: "The kids come out and work for early morning rehearsals, late afternoon rehearsals, and we're still having sectional rehearsals for our parade contest. They have worked very hard for it and they very much deserve it. We thank you very much."

The band will use the money to build a drum major stand for football games and to repair some of the school's instruments.
