OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A car believed to have been used by a man suspected of kidnapping a teenage Texas girl has been found in Oklahoma.
FBI special agent Gary Johnson says the 14-year-old girl and her 22-year-old suspected abductor are still missing.
Authorities have been searching for Margaret Catherine Wilkerson, who goes by the name Katy, since October 25th when she disappeared from her home in League City, Texas.
Johnson says Paul Cameron Bennett persuaded Wilkerson to run away while the two were talking on the Internet.
A federal kidnapping warrant has been issued for the arrest of Bennett, who may be trying to reach Washington state, Johnson said.
A red, 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier with Texas license plates believed to have been driven by Bennett was found yesterday abandoned at a Love's Country Store on Interstate 40, about 5 miles east of Clinton.
Wilkerson and Bennet had been seen at the truck stop at about 3AM last Wednesday.
