KINGFISHER, Okla. (AP) _ A Kingfisher woman has died from injuries she sustained after the car she was riding in hit a dead cow and flipped.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the car that Johnnie Lee Morrisett was riding in struck a dead cow on Oklahoma 33 about 11 miles east of Kingfisher.

The car went airborne, went into a ditch and rolled two and a half times before coming to a rest upside down.

Morrisett was thrown ten feet from where the car came to rest. She was transported to a Kingfisher hospital, where she died from head and trunk injuries.

She was not wearing her seat belt.
