OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Two black members of the Oklahoma House were sworn in by Oklahoma's first black Supreme Court Justice.

Justice Tom Colbert of Tulsa swore in Oklahoma City state Representative Opio Toure to his sixth and final two-year term during a ceremony in the state House chamber Wednesday.

Term limits that went into effect this year limit lawmakers to 12 years in office.

Oklahoma City state Representative-elect Mike Shelton was sworn in to his first term in the state House. Shelton was elected in last week's election to the seat being vacated by term-limited Representative Kevin Cox of Oklahoma City.

Colbert was appointed to the state's highest court by Governor Brad Henry last month.
