YALE, Okla. (AP) -- A fiery collision between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer rig Sunday morning in Payne County left a Pawnee man dead.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says David Lee Majors was killed in the crash on State Highway 51 east of Yale.

Troopers say the pickup driven by Majors crossed the center line and collided head-on with the tractor-trailer and both vehicles caught fire.

Troopers say Majors was trapped inside his truck while the driver of the semi escaped without injury.
