A case of animal cruelty has resulted in two dogs killed one in Oklahoma community. The town's former dog catcher could be charged with the crime.
The story is unfolding in Luther. The police chief says he wants felony animal cruelty charges filed against the former dog catcher.
A police report says two dogs were killed, and two more are recovering after eating hot dogs contaminated with gopher bait.
One dog owner has some advice for people in the town who love their pets. Lisa Clark: "Keep your babies in the house. Keep them in your yard and if you're not sure if you can, you better bring them inside or in the garage."
The case goes to the Oklahoma County DA's office next week.
