Oklahomans are casting their ballots in Campaign 2004. Tulsa County residents were lining up Friday to cast their vote in this year's election. Early in-person voting started Friday morning at the Tulsa County Election Board.
The voting booths opened up at 8 AM. Administrators say that by 10 AM, more than 200 people had already cast their vote, just at the Tulsa County Election Board offices. Officials say those numbers are up.
Shelly Boggs with the Tulsa County Election Board:" We had originally thought we might get 2000 a day, which would be wonderful and I do believe we're going to surpass that estimate."
Early in-person voting will continue Saturday and Monday at all county election board offices. But if you're going to vote on Tuesday, you have to vote in your local precinct.
