EUFAULA, Okla. (AP) -- A Muskogee man who killed his stepmother during an argument over a satellite receiver is going to prison for life.
A McIntosh County jury convicted Paul Curtis Pemberton of first-degree murder in the death of Deanne Pemberton. Pemberton was also convicted of possessing a firearm after a felony.
The jury then recommended two life prison terms for Pemberton and sentencing is set for December 15th.
