OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Governor Brad Henry issued an executive order Thursday urging private health care providers to reserve influenza vaccine for people in high-risk categories.

There's a national shortage of flu vaccine, but Henry says the state can get through this situation if caution is used in the way the vaccine is used.

Children ages six to 23 months top the high-risk category.

Next come adults 65 and older, people with chronic medical conditions, pregnant women, residents of nursing homes, children on chronic aspirin therapy, health care workers and daycare workers.

Henry's proclamation does not have the force of law, but Henry says he expects cooperation.
