Tulsa sex crimes detectives are working a horrible case involving a child.
They say a man crawled into a window at the child's home and raped her. News on 6 reporter Emory Bryan says it happened early Thursday morning - and what has Tulsa Police concerned is that the crime is very similar to two other sexual assaults of young people over the last couple of months.
Police worry the suspect is watching children to pick his victim. The latest case was near 48th and Madison. The suspect cut a screen and went in an open window. Police say it wasn't chance he ended up in a little girl’s bedroom.
The suspect is a white man with brown hair, in his 20's. About six feet tall and 170 lbs. He has a thin frame and is clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a tan OU baseball cap, multi colored tie-dye shirt and blue jeans.
If you have any information about the case, call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
In all three cases - the suspect went through an unlocked door or window, so the police say that's the first precaution parents should take - and obviously report any unusual people or cars in the neighborhood - which might the suspect looking for another victim.
