STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State quarterback Donovan Woods says he knew a long pass play was being called, even before the play call was finished.

Woods connected with freshman receiver Prentiss Elliott on a 58-yard touchdown pass at the end of the first half Saturday, giving the Cowboys a 21-to-nothing lead over Colorado and momentum going into the locker room.

Woods says he knew after the first signals what the coaches were thinking.

And the pass and catch shows O-S-U has more than running back Vernand Morency as an offensive weapon.
