WASHINGTON (AP) -- An abortion rights group says Oklahoma is one of 30 states ready to outlaw abortion if the US Supreme Court reverses its Roe versus Wade decision.

The Center for Reproductive Rights says the states would likely act within a year to ban abortion if the ruling in the Roe case is overturned.

The Supreme Court's ruling in the Roe case in 1973 effectively legalized abortion.
