A bizarre break-in sent one man to the Tulsa County jail and had several dogs running loose for a short time.

Tulsa Police say a man broke into the Woodland Animal Hospital on South Mingo around 5 AM Friday. He told police he broke into the vet clinic because he thought they were starving the animals and he wanted to help them.

Police say the man has mental health problems. All the dogs were found and returned to the clinic.
