OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State lottery officials say the Cash-5 lottery game will be expanded starting next month. In the Cash-5 game players pick five numbers to try and match five numbers drawn at random. Winners get $25,000 after taxes.
The drawings are currently held on Tuesday and Thursday nights. A drawing on Saturday nights will begin July 14th.
Lottery officials say the goal is to increase revenue for education and that the Cash-5 game will have generated more than $5.5 million by the end of this month.
Officials estimate the game will produce more than $8 million in the next fiscal year.
