A Tulsa police cruiser is headed for the body shop. Around 2 a.m. Friday a Tulsa Police officer was involved in an accident. According to witnesses an eastbound Lexus had a green light at 91st Street when it was hit by a Tulsa police officer traveling southbound on Yale.

The officer was not hurt. The driver of the Lexus was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
