SWAN LAKE, Mont. (AP) _ An escaped inmate once accused of plotting to kidnap David Letterman's son was recaptured Wednesday, but a man who fled a prison farm with him was still on the loose, authorities said.

Kelly A. Frank was arrested along a highway in northwestern Montana, Lake County Sheriff Lucky Larson said.

Frank, 45, and William J. Willcutt, 22, escaped Friday from a ranch operated by the Montana State Prison near Deer Lodge, about 120 miles south of Swan Lake.

The search for them moved to the Swan Lake area on Tuesday after a vehicle found abandoned in the woods was traced to Anaconda, near Deer Lodge. The owner of the car said his house had been burglarized and three weapons were missing.

Authorities said the men were considered armed and dangerous.
