Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash

EUFAULA, Okla. (AP) _ A McAlester man has died of injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash in Pittsburg County. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Michael White died at a Tulsa hospital of head injuries suffered in the crash Sunday afternoon.

Troopers say White apparently lost control of the motorcycle as he turned from State Highway 9 onto U.S. Highway 69 southbound.

Investigators say White drove about 400 feet before trying to re-enter the roadway and the motorcycle flipped and threw him about 20 feet.
