Authorities say no one was injured after a truck struck a slow moving train Monday morning in west Tulsa. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the westbound BNSF freight train was crossing 44th West Avenue, when a pickup truck struck the train.
Troopers say the driver of the pickup truck was able to walk away from the accident.
In another traffic accident, one woman was taken to a Tulsa hospital following a single vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 75.
Tulsa Police say at about 6:30 a.m. Monday, the driver of a car lost control on a rain-slick roadway and slammed into a guardrail.
The driver’s injuries were not life threatening, but the driver was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
