One Person Injured In Shooting

An investigation is underway into the late Wednesday night shooting at the Seminole Hills Apartments, located in the 1600 block of East Ute. Witnesses tell Tulsa Police a vehicle was following a man running through the complex when someone in the vehicle fired shots.

A stray bullet grazed a young man sitting in his car with a friend. That man was taken to a Tulsa hospital for a wound to the back of his head. Tulsa Police say witnesses told them; they saw the vehicle and heard several shots. "It started from the stop sign and fired all the way up here to the entrance and just stopped and fired shots. One after another. And one of them could have hit my son or anything," said apartment resident Tosha Menely.

The Tulsa Police Gang Task Force is trying to piece together what led to the shooting.
