Four people are in Tulsa hospitals after two overnight traffic accidents. The first accident happened around 1 a.m. Friday near 39th and Garnett. Tulsa Police say a pickup truck t-boned a small car on the driver-side door. The Jaws of Life were used by the Tulsa Fire Department to rescue the driver of the car and her toddler son. A passenger in the pickup truck was also injured. A three were taken to a Tulsa hospital.
Tulsa Police say the woman driving the car appears to be at fault, but the driver of the pickup truck ran away. Police officers found empty beer cans in the truck.
The second accident was a one vehicle rollover, which left one person hospitalized. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman was westbound near Sand Springs on the Sand Springs Expressway around 1:30 a.m. Friday, when she hit the median and rolled her vehicle.
The woman was rushed to a Tulsa hospital, her injuries are not life threatening. The victim’s name has not been released.
