NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma baseball coach Sunny Golloway says he's shocked the Sooners were passed over for the NCAA baseball tournament.

The Sooners' hopes for post-season play were dashed Monday when the 64-team field was announced and OU's name didn't come up. Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts both were selected for the tourney.

The Sooners finished a disappointing seventh in the Big 12 and ended the season with a 34-and-24 record.

But Golloway had hoped wins in the Big 12 Tournament over tournament teams Oklahoma State and Missouri would give the Sooners the boost they needed to make the 64-team regional field.
