NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Kate Sheaks went 2-3 with a 2-run homer to help lift DePaul to a 7-2 win over Oklahoma Sunday in the NCAA softball super regional tournament.
With the win, the Blue Demons improve to 46-11 and advance to the Women's College World Series. OU finishes the season at 55-8.
DePaul jumped to an early lead in the bottom of the 1st inning when Sandy Vojik led off with a triple and then scored on an RBI ground out by Amber Patton.
The Sooners took the lead in the top of the 2nd after back-to-back solo home runs by Jamie Fox and Lindsey Vandever.
But the Demons scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning and never trailed.
Tracie Adix allowed no hits in the final 4 innings and struck out 3 for the win.
Lauren Eckermann took the loss for the Sooners, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits through 2 2-3 innings.
