OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Shaver Hansen had two RBIs and Baylor pitchers allowed just eight hits in a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma State in the Big 12 baseball tournament late game.
Matt Czimskey's home run to left field in the top of the seventh broke a scoreless tie and Hansen's two-run homer gave the Bears (32-24) a 3-0 lead.
The Cowboys (39-17) scored when Ryan Flavell singled to right field, scoring Jordy Mercer in the bottom half of the frame.
Jeff Mandel (7-7) allowed seven hits and one run in 6 2/3 innings for the Bears. Nick Cassavechia allowed one hit and no runs in 2 1/3 innings for his ninth save.
Joe Kent (4-2) lost after allowing three hits and three runs, all earned, in 6 1/3 innings for the Cowboys.
