OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma cities near military bases would get help paying for infrastructure needs under a bill approved by the Senate Wednesday.
The bill now goes to the House, where passage is expected, and then to Governor Brad Henry's desk.
The measure would authorize state-financed bond issues of up to $100 million statewide for a loan program.
The money would go to school districts and cities already providing services to military bases targeted for expansion under the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission review.
