Two people are recovering after they are shot while sitting in their car in Tulsa. The shootings happened Tuesday night in the 5100 block of North Johnstown Avenue. Tulsa Police say the both of the victims, ages 16 and 24, were shot in the leg after a car pulled up next to them, and a passenger in the suspect's vehicle pulled out a gun. It happened a little after 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say three young men were sitting in a maroon car when a red Chevy Cobalt with loud music pulled up next to them. Witnesses told police the men in the red car rolled down the window and shouted something. Officers say the passenger then pulled out a gun and fired 8 to 10 rounds. Tulsa Police say injuries to the two victims are non-life threatening. Officers say the men were alert and talking to Tulsa Police when they left the scene for treatment.
