OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Country singer Toby Keith will soon leave on his fifth USO tour to entertain troops overseas.

Keith is headed for the Persian Gulf and Germany, according to a news release from the USO's headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.

Keith, who grew up in Moore and lives in Norman, has been a strong supporter of American troops and previously has traveled to Africa, Cuba, Belgium, Kuwait, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Italy and Germany for the USO. He has been to Iraq and Afghanistan several times.

Keith's latest album, "Big Dog Daddy," will be released June 12.
