NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- A funeral director from Purcell who already faces felony drug charges in one county is arrested in an adjacent county on more drug-related complaints. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Betsy Randolph says another trooper pulled over 50-year-old Charles "Mike" Damet on U.S. Highway 77 on Sunday in Cleveland County on a complaint of driving a limousine with an expired tag.
Troopers also cited Damet for not having a valid license.
While searching the vehicle, Randolph says troopers found what they believed to be drugs, drug paraphernalia, a loaded handgun and a double-edged dagger.
A spokesman for the Cleveland County District Attorney's office says charges will be filed Tuesday against Damet.
In McClain County, Damet is charged with nine felonies, including delivering drugs within 2-thousand feet of a school and additional counts of possession with intent to distribute.
