Overnight Traffic Accidents Send Several Motorists To The Hospital

A traffic accident shuts down part of the Broken Arrow Expressway in Tulsa overnight. It happened around 1 a.m. Friday. Tulsa Police say a driver was westbound on the BA when the vehicle he was driving, ran into a guardrail in the outside lanes. The car bounced back and forth and the driver was thrown partially out of the passenger side window.

The victim, a 22-year-old man, was taken to St. John Medical Center in critical condition. His name has not been released.

And a three-car accident sends one woman to a Tulsa hospital overnight. Tulsa Police say a woman was traveling westbound on 15th Street when a man going south on Lewis ran a red light. The minivan he was driving hit the womanâ€™s vehicle broadside.

The woman had to be extracted from her vehicle and taken to hospital. There is no word on her condition.
