STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder is talking with Dallas officials about possibly moving the annual game with Texas Tech to the Cotton Bowl.
Holder told The Oklahoman that it's easy to see the positives.
He says OSU has a lot of alumni in Dallas, plus the school recruits a lot of players in Texas. But Holder says OSU would have to give up one home game every other year -- and that isn't positive.
Tech athletic director Gerald Myers did not immediately return a call Thursday for comment.
The idea is that an OSU/Texas Tech game would, like the Oklahoma-Texas game, be played annually at the Cotton Bowl during the State Fair of Texas.
Dallas Mayor Laura Miller declined to say where negotiations stand with Texas Tech and OSU, but said told the Dallas Morning that that she's discussed the possibility.
