HODGEN, Okla. (AP) -- The body of a teenager who drowned while swimming in the Black Fork River in eastern Oklahoma has been recovered.
Authorities say the body of the 14-year-old boy was found floating about 200 yards from where the Poteau River and the Black Fork meet in Le Flore County.
Undersheriff Bruce Curnutt says the boy and two other teenagers were caught by a current and swept over the dam last Wednesday. The other two teens managed to grab a log and were rescued after a fisherman called 911.
