A Ponca City college student says she cannot believe someone stole her $100,000 prosthetic legs. 19-year-old Celeste Ready lost both her legs in a car accident. She woke up one morning this week, and the prosthetics were gone.
At first, Ready thought it was a joke. Ready says the thief most likely came into her home through the sliding glass door in her bedroom. "I don't think that you could sell them they're legs. They are custom fitted for me; they could not fit anyone else."
Some video games were also taken during the burglary. Celeste now has to get around using a wheelchair.
