NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma softball shortstop Savannah Long is the co-national player of the week this week after helping the Sooners to four wins last week.

She shares the Louisville Slugger-NFCA player of the week award with North Carolina State pitcher Abbie Sims.

Long hit .385 with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs in sweeps of 8th-ranked Baylor and Nebraska. The hits included a 2-run walk-off homer to beat Nebraska.
