Authorities are still looking for a suspect in connection with a homicide in Muskogee last week. Muskogee Police say 20-year-old Bryan Russell is accused of gunning down a neighbor during a dispute. Witnesses told Muskogee Police there was a loud argument between Russell and the victim, 34-year-old Gary Orman, then the suspect opened fire. Family members say Orman was shot in the back as he walked away.
Friday's fatal shooting was Muskogee’s first homicide of the year.
Muskogee Police say a man who reportedly drove Russell away from the scene was arrested Saturday morning. Cory Logan turned himself in and was booked into the Muskogee County jail on complaint of ‘accessory to commit murder.’ Russell, who is also known as Bryan DeNardo, remains at large. He is considered armed and dangerous.
