AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Jeff Gordon will be on the inside of row one Saturday night when the green flag drops at Phoenix International Raceway. It's the fourth time this season that the Nextel Cup points leader has started his #24 Chevy on the pole.

Jamie McMurray's Ford will be alongside Gordon on the first row.
