MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) _ Oklahoma right-hander Stephen Porlier tries to follow up his first career shutout with another strong outing when the Sooners begin a three-game series Friday at Kansas State.
Porlier threw a four-hitter against Nebraska last week to pick up his first win of the season. The sophomore enters Friday's game tied for the Big 12 lead with 68 strikeouts.
Kansas State counters with right-hander Brad Hutt. He's 6-and-2 this season with a two-point-59 earned-run average.
