OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A New York newspaper is reporting that Oklahoma City native Bobby Murcer is set to return to the New York Yankees broadcast booth May 1-3.

The Yankees will be playing the Texas Rangers in Arlington.

Murcer was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in December and underwent surgery in Houston. He's since been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Murcer attended Opening Day at Yankee Stadium on April 2 and was honored in Oklahoma City last week.
