LOS ANGELES (AP) _ The New Orleans Hornets close out their NBA season Wednesday at Los Angeles against the Clippers.

The Hornets were eliminated from the playoffs last weekend but will try to end the season with a two game winning streak.

The Clippers still have a shot at making the playoffs but must beat the Hornets and have Sacramento lose to the LA Lakers.

The Hornets will return to New Orleans next season after spending the past two seasons playing most of their home games in Oklahoma City because of hurricane damage in New Orleans.
