OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A woman was playing a card game on the Internet when her son drowned in a bath tub. Police say 3-year-old William Barnard drowned March 21st at his family's home in southeast Oklahoma City.
Barnard initially said she left the boy in the bath tub while she prepared a bottle for her 4-month-old child. Police say she has since admitted she was playing the card game ``Spades'' on the Internet and left the boy and her 5-year-old daughter in the tub for at least two-and-a-half hours.
Alzaina Barnard is now charged with felony child neglect and is in jail on $10,000 bond.
The three children had been taken into state custody five days before William drowned, but were returned to the home after three days on the recommendation of a social worker.
