WYNNEWOOD, Okla. (AP) -- A Wynnewood man accused of shooting his wife to death on a downtown street is now accused of sexually assaulting another woman the night before the shooting.
Franklin Green is charged with first-degree murder in the Tuesday shooting death of his wife of two weeks -- Gloria Hunter.
Now a 58-year-old woman who was with Green at the time of the shooting is telling investigators Green sexually assaulted her Monday night at a motel in Sulphur.
Police say Green admits having sex with the woman but claims it was consensual.
Investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting of Hunter but think Green was worried she would tell his parole officer he threatened her.
Green was released from federal prison last October after serving 26 years for kidnapping and taking a stolen car across state lines.
He stayed at a halfway house in Oklahoma City until moving to Wynnewood in November.
