The annual Azalea Festival in Muskogee is now underway with a number of activities planned this weekend. Muskogee’s Honor Heights Park is the center of the festival. The 122-acre park features over 30,000 azaleas.

Along with a number of activities planned around Honor Heights Park, there is the annual Azalea Festival parade through downtown Muskogee and a Chili Cook-off and Barbeque contest at the city’s Civic Center parking lot on Saturday.

Muskogee has hosted the festival since 1967.
