WESTPORT, Okla. (AP) A Cleveland, Oklahoma, man dies Sunday when his dirt bike runs off a rural Pawnee County road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Craig Alan Durham was riding the dirt bike about 6:15 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve about four miles west of Westport and ran off the road, hitting a ditch.

The impact threw Durham 50 feet from the point of impact, and he died at the scene.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers noted an odor of alcohol on Durham and say he was traveling at an unsafe speed.
