OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Lone Star Conference is investigating allegations of a ``physical altercation'' between the baseball coaches at Southeastern Oklahoma State and the University of Central Oklahoma.

The incident occurred Sunday during a game in Durant and led to both UCO coach Wendell Simmons and Southeastern coach Mike Metheny being kicked out of the game.

Metheny says the incident was just a conflict during a competitive game and that any physical contact was unintentional.

Simmons declined comment.
